When conducting this collaborative lesson
study project called ‘Lesson Study in INSET between BiH (Bosnia and
Herzegovina) and Japan,’ we, the LNSC (the Japan and
BiH Lesson Study Network Committee), are very thankful to the Japan Foundation,
the Embassy of Japan in BiH, and the Embassy of BiH in Japan for their kind and
generous support. Also we are very delighted to meet with BiH educators and
administrators who are concerned with our proposal to visit and have roundtable
meetings regarding online collaborative lesson study. We are also especially
grateful for special supports from the following people:
Ms Ai Goto, Ms Yuki Yokota (The Japan
Foundation)
Mr Hideo Yamazaki (ambassador), Mr
Hitoshi Kawahara (counselor), Ms Tamaki Usuda (secretary) (The Embassy of Japan
in BiH)
Mr Fuad Didic (counselor), Ms Yukari
Iemura (secretary) (The Embassy of BiH in Japan)
Mr Saudin Sivro (president at the association
of elementary school teachers of Canton of Sarajevo)
And we really appreciate two key persons
in moving around the country and meeting with people: Mr Mirza Purić and Mr Mirsad
Rahmanovic. Without them we could not have conducted this project successfully.
Moreover, we express gratitude to all the
local people and children whom we met during the visit in BiH. We hope we will
be able to have good relationships between BiH and Japan.
Finally, I would like to add one thing
about Mr Takeshi Kanno who did want to visit BiH but could not, because he had
to cancel due to his sudden sickness. However, he is interested in this
project. We hope we will work together in the next phase.
Thank you very much.
The LSNC representative in Japan
Shigeru Sasajima
